USAIN BOLT will be 100 per cent fit for the Games insist Jamaican team officials.
The defending 100m and 200m champion missed the team’s open training session in Birmingham yesterday.
Bolt has been recovering from a hamstring problem after being beaten by Yohan Blake over 100 and 200m at the Jamaican Olympic trials last month.
He was also forced to pull out of last Friday’s Diamond League meeting.
The 100m heats start on August 3 with the showdown two days later.
But Jamaican team boss Ludlow Watts insisted: “He will be competition fit by the time of the Olympics.
“He’s training well and by August 3 we will see the real Usain Bolt.”
