Once in a lifetime experience: Will.i.am took part in the Olympic torch relay today and ran a mile carrying the Olympic flame but kept his fans up to day on Twitter 

Big honour: The musician appeared delighted at being given a spot to carry the torch and was the 109th runner in the 70 day, 8000 mile run

Snappy dresser: The white tracksuit was not his usual attire but Will.i.am jazzed the ensemble up with a pair of studded shoes

High energy: William tweeted: 'Its nuts here in taurton...so much excitement'
